BE READY part two
Welcome back. So, let’s look at the real patriarchs and see how “immediate” God worked in their lives!
Noah
Genesis 6:13
God spoke to Noah and told him to build a giant boat. God kindly gave Noal all the specifications for this large task – details, dimensions, materials.
Can you imagine the ridicule he must have endured? God told Noah to build the ark when he has 500 years old. He was 600 when the floodwater arrived (Genesis 7:6).
100 years is a long time to wait for a promise!

Abraham
Genesis 12
God had been silent for so long. Then He spoke to Abram. He told him to leave his people and set out on a journey. Only God didn’t tell him where to. But Abram obeyed. He took his wife and his nephew and their possessions and set out on a trek.
God made Abraham a promise.
“I will make you into a great nation.”
Often He spoke to Abram, “Blessed be Abram by God most high.” And later: “Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your very great reward.”
This is also when Abram and God had the conversation about the amount of descendants Abram would have while he remained childless. And then, “Abram believed the Lord and he credited it to him as righteousness.” Genesis 15:6
But when Sara brought Abram Hagar, he went along with it.
God again made a promise and did not deliver instantly.
We must believe, trust Him and hold on for dear life. Because the thief will come to steal, kill and destroy. Possibly these are the weeds the enemy sowed in Matthew 13:25..weeds of fear, doubt, unforgiveness, unbelief….
Stayed tuned, more to come…..
